Many refutes Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution, but one of the tribes called T’boli in Mindanao, Philippines believe that human evolved from monkey. The photo above is taken at mountainous place called Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. Local people storytells their beliefs through poetry, dances, and local music.

  2. Hi cschellenberg, yeah very interesting… the T’boli is just one of the minority highlanders in the Philippines. Though in their history they believe that human being came from monkey, but many of the individual T’boli were already converted into Christianity and some into Islam. However, there are still who remains pagan and animist.

  3. Humans didn’t evolve from monkeys.

Humans evolved from an ancestor common to the other modern primates, such as the bonobo, the chimpanzee, the orang-outan, and the gorilla.

I’ve always been amazed that there is any debate over our common ancestry. One look at the ears of any of these cousins of ours is surely enough to confirm it.

  4. Quite an old debate this one….people will believe whatever they choose, facts and evidence remain the same.

  5. @gullybogan - i believe in one creation of human only. But these people belief already a part of their history that in many ways they keep on remembering.

@sarsen56 - i agree with you! thats a good point!
